The Youth program at Mt. Auburn is headed up by Mrs. Marsha Armenoff, Director of Youth Ministries. Ministry to youth at Mt. Auburn starts with spiritual challenge and ends with committed youth disciples.
The programming is active with fun events and service projects scheduled. Each Sunday evening at 4:30, youth in grades 9-12 come together for BLAZE youth group. The middle school group called FIRE (grades 6 - 8) also meets at 4:30 p.m.
Ski retreats, ice skating, Christian rock concerts, Kings Island, pool parties, July 4th fireworks, bonfires, pizza, lock-ins, movies, and miniature golf create a fun atmosphere in which both groups can learn about each other and accept each other.
Through shopping, sharing their talents of music and drawing, scavenger food hunts, and Bingo, both groups learn to share God's love with the elderly and poor.
Youth can also participate in Bible study or a Sunday School class. The Teen Center, provided by Mt. Auburn for Youth Ministry, is one of the finest in the area.
